September weekend

This mountain has more snow on it this morning!

Neva loved walking and looking at all the colors and trees

Supposed to be me and the dog

Perfection

We stuffed Neva in the snugli one more time

Grandma Ouida sent some adorable denim overalls

Recognize this little piggy?

I'm not sure what to think about Auntie Kit...

Milestones

Neva can roll from flat on her back to her side. It seems she is quite comfortable on her side and doesn't need to complete the roll onto her tummy.

We fed her rice cereal tonight for the very first time. She was taking it the best she could figure out how. Not too big of a fuss or too big of a mess! Our baby is getting so big!

Silly Baby

Momma and Baby are watching the views turn golden. Time for vests and hats. Grandma Ouida sent the blue one all the way from Florida. It says it is One Size, but I don't think it is a baby hat. Neva is sleeping through the night and in addition to thumb sucking she seems to enjoy sucking on her forearm like it is a plump juicy sausage.

Sept. 14 rhyme

Neva is growing more adorable each day.

Snow on the tops of the mountains is going to stay.

Jumper Construction

Yesterday Carlos and I completed some small projects around the house including setting it up so Neva's jumper can hang safely from the beam in the main room. She has also outgrown her bedside bassinet so we arranged the pack-n-play for her to sleep in right outside our bedroom. She slept beautifully all through the night last night! Since the pack-n-play is upstairs now, we also created a changing station in the baby room from our spare table and an extra blue foam sleeping pad. Carlos is not expecting more than Sundays off for the rest of this month (hunting season) so Neva and I will have the place to ourselves most of the time to watch Autumn descend upon Alaska.

Baby Blues

Neva's eyes are staying bright blue. This photo with the flash exagerates the color a little bit.

We had people over for goat Sunday. Neva was relaxing with our friends - here it looks like she wants to share some of Rayn's sweet tea!

Life is Good

Late summer days with the baby are wonderful! We tried to capture her adorable frown!

Last Monday Hike

This hike was in Hatcher's Pass, Alaska last Monday. The baby is getting too big for the Snugli at three months old and more than 15 pounds!
